The WCG USA 2009 Invitational is a LAN event that is held each year at the Samsung Experience. Current members of TEAM USA are invited to attend along with several other high-ranking gamers in the US. Invitations will begin being sent out 2 months prior to the event. The 2-day tournament is hosted to see who will be allowed to bypass the WCG Online Tournaments and proceed directly to the WCG 2009 National Final. Gamers will also play for a separate prize purse and other great prize packages.
