2012 National Finals Qualification Process


The 2012 WCG qualification process to the US National Finals consists exclusively of online qualifiers.  Each game will qualify the following amount of teams / players:

Game Format Platform # of Qualifiers
Cross Fire 5v5 PC 4 Teams
StarCraft 2 1v1 PC  4 Players
World of Tanks 7v7 PC 4 Teams
FIFA '12 1v1 PC  4 Players

Players will have the opportunity to participate in two qualification rounds per game. The winning player/team per qualifier in each game will receive stipened travel to the national finals where they will compete for the opportunity to represent the United States at the WCG Global Festival. Players/teams that place second through fourth in the online qualifiers will receive an invitation to compete at the national finals, but will be responsible for their travel to the event. Players must be United States citizens to compete, and will not be allowed to qualify for multiple games.

About the World Cyber Games
