FIFA, also known as FIFA Soccer and FIFA Football, is a series of football (soccer) video games released annually by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label. When the series began in 1993, it was notable for being the first soccer video game to be officially licensed by FIFA, the world governing body of soccer. Since its release, FIFA has become one of the best selling video game franchises in history, and has received global acclaim for its realistic mechanics and thorough representation of the soccer experience. 

Qualification to the National Finals

FIFA players will have the opportunity to participate in two online qualification rounds for the chance to compete at the WCG USA National Finals. The winning player per qualifier will receive stipened travel to the national finals where they will compete for the opportunity to represent the United States at the WCG Global Festival. Players that place second through fourth in the online qualifiers will receive an invitation to compete at the national finals, but will be responsible for their travel to the event. Players must be United States citizens to compete, and will not be allowed to qualify for multiple games.
